These terms cover use of the LearnPokemon fan encyclopedia. The site is educational and informational. It is not an official Pokémon product, and it does not sell cards.

LearnPokemon is an unofficial educational fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and related names are trademarks of their owners.

Educational and informational only

LearnPokemon explains Pokémon Trading Card Game sets and the species named on those cards so a reader can study the timeline, a set list, a species, or a ranking. It is a fan encyclopedia. It is not a store, not an auction, not legal advice, not financial advice, and not an official database. You are responsible for how you use what you read, including any decision to buy, sell, grade, or trade a card.

No affiliation, and intellectual property

LearnPokemon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon, the Pokémon logo, and related names are trademarks of their owners. Card text, card images, set logos, and species artwork remain the property of their rights holders and are shown so you can study the sets. Pack photographs are credited on the About page. Do not present these pages as an official Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak, or Pokémon Company product.

You may browse the timeline, set galleries, Pokédex, and rankings for personal learning. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers. Do not copy the pages into a product that claims an official relationship that does not exist.

Data may be incomplete

Set lists, release dates, printed totals, stats, rarities, images, and prices come from third-party APIs and from a snapshot shipped with the site. Japanese sets come from TCGdex. Species come from PokéAPI. English card records come from the Pokémon TCG API when it answers, and otherwise from the bundled snapshot. Any of that can be missing, delayed, or wrong. A gap is left blank or shown as an em dash. LearnPokemon does not fill a missing price, pull rate, or print run with a guess.

Pricing links are third-party

Raw market, mid, low, and high figures, when shown, come from the Pokémon TCG API field tcgplayer.prices. The Top 100 by value is a baked list of ungraded market prices, described on the rankings page. The site does not show a PSA 1–10 dollar chart and does not invent a grade price. Links to Pokemon Price Tracker or to an eBay sold-listings search leave this site. Those services set their own prices, their own terms, and their own privacy practices. A number on LearnPokemon is not an offer to buy or sell a card, and it is not a promise that a marketplace will honor that number. You are responsible for checking the third-party source before you rely on it.

No warranties

The encyclopedia is provided as-is and as-available, without a warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Rankings, legality lines, and images can change when a source changes. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for decisions you make from these pages, including purchases, sales, or collection planning. If a page is wrong, write to [email protected] with the URL and the correction.

Advertising

Some pages reserve space for Google AdSense. Ads are not served while the publisher id is the placeholder REPLACE_WITH_ADSENSE_CLIENT. If advertising is enabled later, the ad content is Google’s and is covered by Google’s terms as well as these. This page does not publish a ca-pub- id.

If you are a rights holder and want a specific image or passage reviewed, email [email protected] with the page URL and the material. These terms may be updated by editing this page. The date at the top is the version you are reading. The Privacy Policy explains storage, hosting logs, and cookies.
